Bumble's Blog Tails

Hello furry friends!

Hope you’ve all had a good week – I have been loving the sunshine! Nothing better than kicking back on the lawn with the sun on my paws! ......... and the sun seems to bring out so many more Lycra-clad folk along MY road to chase. Sue gets rather cross, but the way I see it, I’ve helped a lot of people reach PB’s by chasing them!

Speaking of chasing, I’m still waiting for our Urban Pooch delivery coming in, but there have been all sorts of other things coming in this week instead! Lots and lots of lovely Emma Bridgewater (who will one day listen to my letters and produce a Bedlington Terrier mug!), some new patterns and royal baby memorabilia ...... that reminds me, I must see how my Corgi pals are getting on down at Windsor!

Anyhow, must dash, I think I hear walkers again, but do pop in and see me, and our lovely new deliveries too!

Well, the past couple of weeks Sue has been very busy. New shop fit-out at Blacketts complete with a very realistic wooden pier ........ maybe leave boy dogs outside if you’re paying us a visit ...... to avoid them paying a visit ....!

She’s also been very busy with the help of James making a new website, all sounds very complicated to me!

Given that she’s been otherwise engaged I thought I’d make myself useful and take myself for a walk. There’s this great place above the beach at Bamburgh, nice smooth grass for running on and lots of friendly people throwing white balls for me to play fetch with too! (although some of their sartorial choices leave a lot to be desired!) Speaking of fashion, I’m currently sporting a new collar – my old one got left behind when I got stuck down a hole last week ..... it’s awkward ...... I don’t like to talk about it!

Anyhow, I’m super excited that Sue has FINALLY taken on my suggestion to stock more products for me and my friends. Within the next couple of weeks Blacketts will proudly be showcasing Urban Pooch! I’ll let you know when it eventually arrives! Anyhow, must go, some walkers are traipsing up MY road. How rude!!

Hi Furry Friends!

So, today after my morning walk and bath (Sue didn't like my Eau de Sheep Poo) – I was having a snooze in the office (on the chair, but don't tell Sue's other half!) ..... anyhow, I'm sure Sue said that if you come into Blacketts today and say “woof, woof” when you're at the counter, you'll get 10% off! Finally, the humans are talking my sort of language!

Anyway, give it a try, and if you come in bring me a biscuit (for reasons I will divulge in a minute). I'm on a diet this week and I'm famished – Bonio's preferably!

Until next time, licks and kisses

Bumble Blackett

P.S. - What I've learned this week: if your human leaves a box of double choc chip muffins on the car seat - don't eat them when they're in the Post Office. They don't like to share - AND I'm on rations for the rest of the week - I know, so unfair!!

Hi! I'm Bumble Blackett, and this is my human (in the photo), Sue.

Welcome to Bumble's Blog Tails. I like long walks on Bamburgh beach, dinner time and having 40 woof winks. I also love spending some time in Blacketts – pop in and see me – well behaved humans also allowed but please try and stop them cocking their legs inside. Sue doesn't like that!!

Follow me for up to date news on what my human is doing. She has lots of lovely things in her shop and I can tell you all about her special offers. I hear all sorts from my basket behind the counter; I always sleep with one ear open!

Licks and kisses

Bumble Blackett

P.S. - What I've learned this week: for some reason our humans don't appreciate being jumped up at if they're wearing white jeans. Weird right?
